VIVO Single LCD Monitor Desk Mount Stand Fully Adjustable/Tilt/Articulating for 1 Screen up to 27" (STAND-V001)

    • The arm is easy to install and can be loosened and tightened to the right tautness to hold a screen steady and also give it maneuverability
    • Strong arm with many adjustments to get the monitor where you want it
    • The articulating arm is almost too heavy-duty for this
    • I removed one of the horizontal bars because the arm put the monitor right in my face at my desk, but not complaining as this would probably be great for really wide desks
    • I give it 5 stars because it is a nice mount with the adjustable arm
    • Simply put, this is an AWESOME arm for the $35 I paid for it
    • The instructions were clear and the arm is very stable with a 25 inch monitor
    • the base is sturdy as other reviewers have written here but the arm, the adjustments and the mount to the monitor are less sturdy and leave much to be desired, especially the loose mount at the monitor itself5) aesthetically displeasing: the pole, the arm, etc after adjusting are all at oblique angles to each other and several people have commented that it looks as if it's about to fall over
    • Ideally I wanted to be able to fully collapse the arms and have the monitor right next to the post.
    • Design flaw hinders the arm greatly
    • Hard to believe it's possible to get an arm this sturdy for the price
    • Decent monitor arm, but has started to sag/bend on the large post due to holding my monitor after just a month
    • After some brainstorming and very light planning in my head I decided to get a desk mounted monitor stand with an articulating arm that I could mount upside down to fit it in the place I wanted it without drilling any holes or taking up too much room
    • I highly recommend if you're looking for a nice single arm.
    • I have this arm and also their older version as well and this one is much better
    • The only thing I did was loosen some of the bolts a fraction of an inch so the arms articulated a little easier, this required a different allen key then the ones that came with the mount
    • My only gripe would be the fact that as you move the flexible arm that is attached to your monitor, it gradually slides down the support pole and to be readjusted from time to time.
    • Some dimensions are easier to adjust than others - it's easy to rotate and maneuver horizontally, but the up/down motion is awkward, it's just friction holding the arm up
    • The articulated arm allows me to position the monitor just off camera, but is rock solid with no signs of drooping.
    • If you have a kinda flimsy table(like I do), then you would also need to check the max weight that your table can accomodate, as the arms are built like a tank and quite heavy just on their own
    • This heavy arm is quite rigid and able to hold the monitor with ease
    • I would highly recommend these vesa mount arms.
    • If the arm was more flexible, then I could push my monitors much further back, but as it is the monitors are a full 10" from the back of my cube
    • My monitor only weighs about 7 pounds and the arm swings perfect.
    • But if you need to collapse the arm/monitor close to the vertical post... you simply can't do it, so don't buy it.
    • I actually only purchased a pair of these to rob the articulating arm to add to my existing VIVO Vertical VESA mounts to hold a pair of computer speakers at the correct level for optimal sound and quick, easy adjustment for other uses
    • I planned to put the stand on the side of the desk, but that ended up not working because the arm wasn't long enough
    • The arm is strong and can be tightened to your liking
    • The arm is not able to fold back flush to the mount, but if you can plan around that, this works well
    • Seriously, there's a mountain of cardboard wrapping this thing!Excellent swing arm; you need to do some hard-core bolt tightening to keep heavier monitors stable, but it works fantastically
    • For those that will be changing the monitor tilt or height often, consider a more expensive monitor arm.
    • The only downside is no easy vertical adjust as other much more expensive arms provide
    • Only thing holding back the 5th star is it's bulky--that vertical arm is hard to hide or manage
    • This arm never fails to amaze me
    • Of course this is not a nice spring-loaded arm I've seen in high end offices costing hundreds of dollars, but for my use, I'm more than pleased with it
    • From flimsy arms, to not holding height, slipping hinges and tilting screens
    • The only issue I have is that the adjustable swing arm doesn't have nearly as much travel or movement as I expected
    • The arm is very sturdy, and I am swiveling the monitor between horizontal and vertical daily
    • I have tightened it to the point where the clamping flanges are touching, yet I am still able to twist the arm around the upright pole with ease
    • It's very strong, I use it with 27" monitor, it's very stable and the FLEXIBLE arm is fantastic.
    • Great simple arm for a monitor.
    • I gave a 3 because it seems like the arms are hard to tighten to make the screen stable and keep it at it's place and angle.
    • The arm is adjustable and the height maximum is good
    • The arm is very strong in its support of the monitor and the clamp at the desk
    • The fully articulating arm is super helpful when I need to plug something into the monitor or move it for any reason
    • The fully articulating arm is super helpful when I need to plug something into the monitor or move it for any reason
    • The arms are also long enough for all positions
    • This is an excellent mounting arm
    • If you are looking to totally tighten and lock the arm into position it might be possible (that wasn't my use case, but I think it might not be possible..)Remember that the desk you are mounting the arm on has to have enough weight to support the arm
    • Now, if I actually wanted to mount a single VESA-compatible display and have some easy horizontal and depth adjustment and pivot, this is great for the price, but lacks fast vertical adjustments, for which a good gas-charged arm mount is better.
    • If you have speaker stands that are 35mm you can use that to support the arm.
    • Very stable arm
    • This very inexpensive arm has its limitations.
    • Pretty effective arm, love the sleek look it brings to my work station
    • The arm is fantastic for the price.
    • These arms are just great
    • The directions recommend that you mount the monitor after you have the arm all hooked up and ready to go which is what I did
    • My only gripe is that the arms don't fold up all the way like a traditional mount would
    • I have both the single arm and the dual arm version of this on my desk for a total of 3 monitors and this works quite well.
    • The arms themselves seem very sturdy and can be tightened enough so that they don't move.
    • Remove top arm with tv attached to travel.
    • The difference between this item and some more expensive arms/stands is that many of those stands can be moved, tilted, without the use of tools
    • The arm itself is fine, it's the tilt bolt that is having trouble
    • But the arm is long enough, so I just have the mount a little further back on my desk, and I have the clamp rotated on the pole, so I get the most movement in the direction I want.
    • Assembly was beyond easy, and the arms are easily adjustable and articulate perfectly
    • This very inexpensive arm has its limitations.
    • Assembly was beyond easy, and the arms are easily adjustable and articulate perfectly
    • It was missing the tightening hex bolt that secures the arm to the vertical pole.
    • The horizontal arm is inflexible: the minimum distance from the vertical pole mount (eg, the back of the desk) to the back of the monitor is about 12 inches -- causing the monitor to be too close to the user in many cases where the desk is narrow front-to-back -- my desk is 23 inches deep.
    • NoneOther thoughts:I removed one of the arms with the included allen wrench because the arm and mounting pole were sagging a little under the weight of my monitor
    • The arm does not collapse far enough back which means the monitor is too close
    • Great arm, wish you can buy separate components
    • The arm with monitor attached is also very sturdy.
    • I gave a 3 because it seems like the arms are hard to tighten to make the screen stable and keep it at it's place and angle.
    • Finally a great, solid, and clean aesthetics monitor arm
    • Love, love, love this arm!
    • The arms are nice and long, the base pole is very tall, the cable management works much better than any others I've used
    • Got this for my wife's desk, as she works from home
    • Works as you'd expect.
    • Worked exactly as I wanted it to, my tv broke recently so now I have this suspending a monitor over my bed, made
    • Works as you'd expect, without hiccups or gotchas
    • So far it works exactly as it says
    • Works as you would expect it to
