• Reviews around drift (2.11 of 5)

    Xbox Elite Wireless Controller

    • Left bumper broke within first month and right stick had drift within second.
    • For what it costs i would expect it to last longer (about 11 months for my first controller before the left bumper broke along with some pretty fierce drift in both sticks) and if it's not as durable as it should be then the return/repair policy could be more robust.
    • Unfortunately, both developed significant drift on the sticks within a couple weeks of light use
    • seriously? The rest of the controller feels great, there's a slight right drift on the left thumb stick on my second
    • As of right now, it has developed an intermittent (and ever worsening) forward drift in the left joystick.
    • And yes I went through on in the app and reset the sensitivity of the stick and now the drift is slower
    • I loved this controller at first, then I experienced relentless right stick drift and it became worse than useless.
    • 1 year of use and hardcore upper drift on left stick unusable, it may be a simple fix (if I take it apart warranty done).
    • I guess I can add my name to the long, sad list of people who spent $150 on this controller, only to have the right joystick drift to the point of being useless, after it was out of warranty
    • Great controller at first, but now the sticks have insane drift on them which makes the controller unusable.
    • However, as is often the case with MicroFail controllers, it wasn't too long before it developed the infamous drift disease, rendering it completely worthless.
    • Then I began to experience unbearable stick drift
    • I loved this controller at first, then I experienced relentless right stick drift and it became worse than useless.
    • The Controller was great for the first 7 months, then that dreaded thumbstick drift reared its ugly head and of course microsoft won't fix it
    • The drifting in the XBone Elite controller is crazy (just like it's price) compared to that one.
    • I've had the infamous "left-stick drift" design flaw happen with 3 Microsoft Xbox controllers in 1 year, all under 1 year of use: 2 Elites & 1 Lunar White.
    • Mine has a pretty bad drift for the left thumb stick now and im pretty
    • Mine came to me with severe stick drift to the point it was almost un useable
    • Mine was bought 10 months ago and is now unusable due to horrible stick drift (already replaced bumpers that broke at 7 months).
    • 2nd controller, left bumper and bad stick drift
    • All 3 had the rb break and the thumb sticks have severe drift
    • The inevitable drift issue began and of course Microsoft doesn't cover it through a warranty that only lasts 90 days
    • The right stick drifts upwards... will post video later
    • My original Elite now has the drift on the left stick and
    • MS shouldn't get to intentionally cut corners on the basic controller model, with a famously broken D-Pad (just like last time!), and then charge three times as much for the fixed version
    • K/D is up a solid .7 since implementing
    • Classic + D Pad is much more positive than circular version
    • I didn't find the different D-pad options to really improve the feel of the D-pad, though and didn't help much in the few fighting games that the XBONE gets
    • Thank god fighting games are mostly a thing of the past or you buy an arcade stick because I haven't seen a good D-Pad since the NES from the 1980s
    • Let me see if i get what i am reading, i was planing to buy this controller, but it seems to break easy aftet a few month of use regarles of level of use that does not sound like a high end controller, and a 90 day warranty tells me that even the company dont have confedent the controller is going to last, i was a hardcore gamer both on xbox 360 and ps3, but move to pc, now i pike to pkay exclusives, so i want to get me a xbox one and ps4, with the high end controllers, i had my xbox 360 for about 10 years and it works fine, the controllers are very well made to last, to the point that i but a new shell for running over my wife pink controller with my car, well i but the sheel and fix some of the bent joysitck parts and works lile new, so how in yhe world a 150 dollars controller breaks in 3 to 8 months with only a 90 days warranty
    • n’t work on other controllers
