Yamaha FC4 Piano Style Sustain Pedal

    • This electronic sustain pedal imitates the feel of a conventional piano's sustain pedal very well, and works as intended.
    • If I did not depress the pedal, the sound was sustained.
    • This is an excellent sustain pedal
    • (pedal press disables sustain versus enabling sustain)
    • If I depressed the pedal, the sound was not sustained.
    • When using another brand pedal, the sustain was intermittent and erratic on my Yamaha Keyboard but now it works perfectly after finally purchasing a Yamaha pedal.
    • I'm sure this is an effective sustain
    • This is a great sustain pedal
    • When I first plugged in, the sustain was always on, and disabled when pressing the pedal
    • This pedal sustains well, exactly as it should, and operates in the same way as the sustain pedal on an upright piano, as long as it's in position
    • Yamaha Elektronik Europa shipped the yamaha FC4 piano Style Sustain Pedal quickly and worked and is plugged into my Yamaha E433 keyboard now.
    • but like others on this page, The sustain is on when my foot is off it and off when I press my foot down to turn it on
    • The sustain works to send midi sustain to the VST synth so that is good also.
    • A no-nonsense and well designed sustain pedal
    • A backward sustain pedal is not fun.
    • This is a great sustain pedal for my Yamaha keyboard
    • I'm using the meager, but effective, Casio sustain pedal that comes with the PX-330.
    • This pedal was easy to plug in and use (warning - do follow the directions and plug it in BEFORE you turn on the piano - otherwise it can work oppositely - where lifting your foot makes the sound sustain - weird effect that one is).Our piano is on a hardwood floor and the pedal moves a half inch with each press
    • The Yamaha FC4, has been around for some time and has become the good old reliable sustain peddle that can take a kicking and still remain reiable and trustworthy, and it has enough heft to remain in place no matter your tempo
    • If you don't, you may end up with polarity problems, where the sustain on / off will be reversed when depressing the pedal
    • Doesn't seem to have a strong sustain like a standard piano peddle.
    • This pedal is far superior to the non-piano-look of many sustain pedals available for keyboards - at least for someone like me who grew up using an actual piano with its build in pedals.
    • Excellent sustain pedal
    • The pedal was easy to just plug into my keyboard and gives it a beautiful sustained sound as I hoped that it would.
    • it added sustained notes, warmth and depth to this little unpleasant keyboard
    • Works as I expected.
    • Okay, so I'm still going to knock off a
    • Nice weighted pedal though, doesn't feel like it would break as soon as you play a little dubstep ;D
    • Have used it for over a year and it works as it's supposed to.
