I took care of these cables even mantaining the folding pattern they came in, they worked just fine until they started failing about 2 weeks ago, purchased them in April 2018, now its Oct 2018 and most of them have died, I haven't used all of them, I still keep some stored up in my bag in case one fails, but it's a good value

So I purchased these because the reviews were OK and Amazon recommended them

I was just recording vocal tracks with a very sensitive condenser mic so should have heard something if it was there.

sometimes there will be noticeable minor defects on cheaper stuff, like loose female clips ect, not these

Drums, vocals, instruments are all mic'ed up and sound quality is good, coming into a Midas console and 25000 watt system.

Go ahead and spend a little more and get a better quality cable.
