Although this remote/controller works mostly as expected, the major problem for me is that it does not remember the state of the white LEDs when the power is restored

It remembers the setting of the RGB lights ok, but that's useless since that color will be washed out by 100% bright white when the power is restored.(e.g

blue).Someone should really teach these folks how the color spectrum works, and how to make a smart product, rather than just taking a RGB controller, and adding a white controller to it

(e.g.: If you select a pale blue preset on the remote then it'll use the red and green channels to make the blue paler, rather than intelligently using the white to make a purer

Cannot recommend this product at all.___________________________________Original post: I bought this, hoping to replace the one I had just like it that had a very bad IR Receiver, as I couldn't use that one sitting from my couch.

The LEDs lit up, but the controller didn't work at all.

I will buy another one, just in the hopes that I got a bad unit, and will update on the status of it later.
