First, the punches themselves are not sharp meaning you have to punch the same hole front and back, leaving it gnarled

I used it to punch holes on a few belts, took conciderabke force with a thicker belt but it worked, made a nice hole.

I went on the other side of the cover and used the punch to make new holes it work awesome and cut a nice clean hole thru it

I used a very thick belt and I needed to remove the first layer of the hole and then use the hole punch a second time in the same spot.

I had a pretty difficult time getting it to actually press down to punch the hole, but once I did it looked great!
