After several conversations with multiple tech support staff, I determined Acronis had no intention of making it possible for US the CONSUMER make a decision whether we wanted TI be allowed to backup the OneDrive folders

The user called the tech support line and got no help and solved it himself and posted the solution

I explained all this to Acronis tech support and they sent me a new version of True Image

After numerous discussions with tech support (see below), they finally conceded that the only way to back up large files was to manually delete the previous backup and do a complete backup (no incremental backup), which is both time-consuming and error-prone

Meaning, I trust Acronis to work when I need it the most, to recover vital data and even entire Operating Systems.

Does what they advertise; I have used this (different versions) to recover data or simply move my boot drive from a smaller to a larger or a faster drive - I just used this version to my my wife's laptop - her inexpensive laptop used a 1 TB 5400 RPM drive (yes, 5400 RPM!

I sleep easier at night knowing my important data will still be there tomorrow.

Thought it might get difficult in configuring the software, it was as simple as looking at icons, choose your source, choose your destination and your data is ready to backup

great program to clone hard drives

, I had three clones of each drive stored away, every while, week or so, I would make new clones on the stored drives, then suddenly my computer went crazy, nothing would work, I opened it, removed the SSD and HDD and replaced it with a cloned drive, rebooted and my computer was like new, true I may have lost anything I had done in the short time between cloning these replacement drives, but I never even noticed, email is with gmail and can be accessed and many programs keep data when you are signed out, "on line

This software is a total bust

Too often they make some dumb decision programatically and break the software then take a long time to reverse their decision

Backup software can also be very critical, so you need to make sure it works right because you don't want to find out the hard way later on that it doesn't.

Very buggy get external drive error almost every time

It provided us a significant time saving and efficiency during migration procedure

True image has the option of compressing your backup files, but I recommend chosing

What I like most about Acronis True Image is that it is the lack of complexity
