I am using this via the Thunderbolt port to mirror my screen to the HDMI input of a Samsung LED TV

The picture quality is great, good adapter for anyone who wants to hook their MacBook up to a non-apple smart tv

The picture however (and I did try on 3 or 4 TV's) wasn't the greatest.

I bought this to let me hook up my macbook pro up to a smart tv through the hdmi port to display powerpoint slides on the tv from the macbook

I use this for my surface to connect to both my work monitor and TV at home at two separate occasions

I use it to connect my mac laptop to my T.V. Works great!

The adapter is already broken and need to be replaced

I bought this AmazonBasics Mini DisplayPort thunder bolt adapter to add a second display to my Mac mini and it works great

The adapter worked, but an hour or so later, the picture wouldn’t come up

Downsides are: It does not send audio through hdmi, It has good quality picture but not HD.

Really easy to use and the picture and sound are perfect.

The price is unbeatable compared to the price at Best Buy (around$25)

It's worth the buy if you're looking for something like this for your computer.

It's very flimsy and plastic-y, but it does the job which is the important part

The plastic feels a little cheap when compared to the actual Apple brand adapter, but the price more than makes up for that.

Not the greatest quality, the plastic that surrounds the port was loose and had to press it back in place
