but I think their quality could be compared to Bilkin and that is not top quality and dependability but it is affordable and generally works well

Connected to just plain USB (not Quickcharge, USB PD, or other fast charging protocol) most phones will only draw 1.5A to 2A.Over the years I've collected a number of tools for testing USB power devices

The included wallbrick with my iphone was dead slow charging but with this one I can charge my phone 3X faster

Though this does heat up a little if you have four devices being charged all at once, it's not enough to where it could burn anyone or anything that comes into contact with this charger, and there's never been a smell of burning or melting plastic or wires (you may have experienced this with super cheap, off-brand, non-certified charging cables and blocks - lesson learned

It plugs firmly into the wall socket, and offers all the high powered, fast charging for my modest needs

They work just fine, only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it has this insanely bright blue LED light on the front of it when it is plugged in

: It's a bit heavy, so if you want it to stay in the outlet, you'll need to put it in the top outlet, so it gets some leverage

The one downside to this model over the six and ten port models is that is plugs directly into outlets, so if you frequently swap out cords less accessible outlets will be harder to change

The plug prongs are both the same size so you can plug this in to either the top or bottom outlet

Particularly bothersome when you don't have many available outlets
