The cord I got happens to be in one of my favorite colors, red!The cable is made from a thick cord like material which I think will be able to stand some abuse
So far so good 3 weeks and working perfectly, love the stout quality and the bright red color keeps my kids from stealing it!

I would imagine this specific cable length would be ideal for people who are charging their phones with their laptops or a portable charger as that is how I have been utilizing this
My kid was using his 5 foot long lighting cable to charge his phone from his Anker portable charger and it was hanging down to his feet
Perfect length for connecting a portable charger to your iPhone
hopefully this one will last me a long time which is about 6 months since I like to use it with a portable charger that I carry around my pocket
