It is still an awesome scale though if you use the metric system.

It's a study scale with easily read markings and is a better quality than the plastic one I had years ago.

Its good quality, lays flat on every side, paint and numbers are well painted and have sharp lines

Perfect weight and the protected plastic ends are a nice touch not always included.

I would have preferred a little more weight, (the Staedtler Engineer ruler that came in at the same time is noticeably heavier), but putting the plastic caps on the end was a nice touch to keep it from being too sharp
