The system, controllers and games are all in good condition

Advertised as very good condition and tested, was full of rust and did not work

I do not think any product on Amazon should be labeled in "GOOD" or even "AVERAGE" condition when the seller himself does not know if the product works.

Not once have I encountered an inoperable game (not to say they don’t exist, but chances are good that a cartridge in good condition is very likely to work)

I enjoy the VCS 2600 much, but i also enjoy Other systems as well

While this console can in fact play Atari 2600 games (if it works, see below), the fact is that it is NOT a genuine Atari 2600.

Really love the Atari 2600 VCS but this one, didn't work

The game library is the largest for any system ever made having well over 1,000 titles because anyone who could put a program together could have it released for the Atari and because of that the game market crashed in 84 due to an over saturation in games and actually all game systems and games appeared to be dead, but Atari 2600 survived and continued sales into the early 90s.

Maybe it was the fact the seller just threw it and the five games into a priority box with absolutely NO padding to protect this delicate electronic equipment
