I've found that the clear plastic disc that comes with a spindle of blank discs works well to help in applying a little pressure as the label is affixed to the disc.
Use a clear plastic disc (that comes in cd/dvd stacks) to finish the job
just firmly press the clear disc straight down on the recorded side of the DVD, which will be enough force to adhere the label onto the other side of the DVD.
I also use the clear plastic disc that comes with my purchase of DVD's on a spindle
You can use an old cd or the clear disc that comes in most packages of cds and dvds
This applicator takes almost all the hassle out of applying labels cleanly and precisely on your discs
You can put labels on by hand as accurate as this applicator will.
Outstanding applicator just what I was looking for Thanks
If you are tired of trying to put labels on by hand and wasting them or tearing them because you have to try and take them off and reposition them...you will love this applicator
Doesn't work quite as good as the Memorex label applicator.
I work my way around the disc this way, doing maybe four to six sweeps.
if i ever learned how to use this disk program I would more likey to enjoy way of putting the disks on recorded disks.
it doesnt come with directions and definately could use some hints on the best way to use it. not much better than just using the case from new cds to apply the label.
Odd way to operate, you have to rotate the center cylinder to get the larger cylinder to pop up
Applicator is best way to center and apply dvd /cd labels to the disks.
Took a little time to figure out how to use it but it worked!
At first I only ordered the Avery DVD labels and was having a hard time getting the labels on just right, because if I didn't, the label could catch when the DVD is spinning in the DVD player
so times it came out great and other times it was a mess
works great have only used it 4 times because my label paper i order was DMG by rain post office did not ring my door
The larger portion of the spindle sits too flush with the floor where the label and CD would lay on, resulting in a difficult time centering the label for the CD.
or maybe they should have added 3 or 4 lines of instructions just to make sure no one gets confused, final words good item, but it needed a few words of instructions don't underestimate a person ability for brain farts lol.
The item is grossly overpriced in my estimation.
The box was opened & the item was damaged
It is a good item, but if you're not lazy, you can do just as good yourself.
This item was right on time and is now serving its purpose
That didn't included actually burning the DVD on the computer
Put cd/dvd lable sticky side up, place cd/dvd on top with shiny side up and press
The product does not make it easier, it actually makes it much more difficult and after wasting approximately 10 DVD labels, which are not cheap, the item is now a paper weight
