I am still using the strings that came on it and they are staying in tune quite well

the A string tuning peg is loose, fine tuning pegs don't work at all, suspect that has something to do with the cheap steel strings.

While the craftsmanship issues don't affect the sound quality, tuning it is more work than it should be.

Basically in order for the instrument to be usable it cost me $100.On the positive side, it sounds great for a relatively inexpensive violin
