Pros:great style love the blackCons:on/off spout is really hard to turn even for an adult and near impossible for small childrenthe new spout is has a removable rubber piece on the inside and if it's not snug it will leakoverall
I’ve used 3 generations of Podium bottles and this one works just as well as it’s predecessors
Sleek style and easy to drink while cycling.
Truth be told, I liked the older style of spout better; more pliable.
Love the style and the color

Before riding I recommend unlocking for quick and easy access for drinking as it won't spill out no matter how rough surfaces are and after all it's way better than traditional water bottles with the twisting cap open because I have to admit I've almost fallen off like in those ads

It was on sale, so I’m not going to complain a
Lost a star for the cleaning process

leak proof, feel confident putting it in my computer bag now*Fits bottle cages better*Easier to clean*Flow is improved, easier to get a big drinkPro-Tip
Maybe Camelback has their own proprietary cages now, I don't know, but these will NOT stay put in the standard cycling bottle cage
So you'll have to hack your cage to keep your bottle from bouncing over every piece of gravel you ride over.

Fits the cage, like the twist open/close on the nozzle
the same day I use them, to my surprise, halfway into my ride I notice a funny taste in the water
They're lightweight and don't impart any weird taste to your water

No plastic taste while drinking, easy to grip while riding and easy to drink from during a race.

Those sounds are hard to explain but almost impossible to stop or ignore
No leaks, but valve makes little "clicking" sound after a sip and is a bit difficult to disassemble for thorough cleaning.
No matter how loosely or tightly the lid of this bottle is screwed on or how full I fill the bottle, the lid makes constant, very annoying sounds afterward
However, my two complaints are that 1) this bottle is very noisy, every time you drink it makes a loud sound afterwards which is awkward and 2) the bottle became moldy pretty quickly so be careful of this and pay attention to the inside rim if you use this long term.

My only complaint is that after taking a sip it will make a weird sucking noise for a while, but that's something you won't even notice while riding a bike
After you're done, the valve closes and makes an odd noise.

This bottle and the older one both make strange noises if you drink from them quickly and then put the bottle down
makes an annoying clicking noise when equalizing pressure
