Reviews around color (5.00 of 5)

  • The color is so much better in person and matches my bike nicely
  • The color is great because it matches perfectly with my bike
  • I bought two of these bottles for the bright red color to match my bike
  • The black water bottle is actually a clear color with just a black liner, so it does not actually look like the picture
  • I like the color of this particular bottle and this is the third camelbak bottle I have purchased

Reviews around flow (5.00 of 5)

  • I think the Polars make keep things colder a little longer, but these have great flow rate, better than all, and easy to keep clean.
  • Because of the double wall construction it is too hard for me to squeeze to get a good flow
  • Not keeping water cold , and flow of the water is not good , you have to push hard
  • Its shorter, has great flow, and comes apart better to clean than the old ones.
  • The valves offer great flow, don't leak and can be disassembled relatively easy for cleaning (much easier than the previous valves)

Reviews around leak (5.00 of 5)

  • Leak Proof and easy to clean but doesn't keep water cold
  • My husband says these are indispensable on his rides because the top prevents leaks.
  • After getting these I am really happy with their ability to keep my liquids cool as well as not leak all over my bike.
  • Bottle is leak-proof, easy to hold (perception).I would recommend using effervescent cleaning tablets ocassionaly to remove inner “dirt” that may create from storing liquids, specially sport drinks.

Reviews around brand (5.00 of 5)

  • A very well established brand, they know how to make a better bottle!
  • Easily a new favorite brand! These bottles are easy to use, are spill proof AND have great water flow!Must have!
  • I prefer this brand because it is easy to squeeze the bottle.
  • Love the brand so much that we have 3 of them, even though we don't bike.

Reviews around size (4.49 of 5)

  • The bottle is a nice size and will fit in most water bottle pouches and pockets.
  • The right size to hold in my hand with the tappered neck and fits in a bike cage just
  • At 21 oz, it is just the right size to hold enough water for my short to mid length rides and easily fit in the cage on my hard tail mountain bike.
  • The size is perfect for me - it's narrow but not top heavy.
  • Difficult to clean, as with any bottle this size

Reviews around lock (4.40 of 5)

  • I got this bottle and another brand with a much more convenient push/pull lock
  • Leak proof, even when the twist top isn't set to 'lock', and it keeps my water cold for about an hour.
  • The lock is brilliant, overall, whoever designed this thing got it
  • A twist-top lock mechanism prevents leaks when the bottle is not being used

Reviews around job (4.06 of 5)

  • Similar to the previous design the bottle does a great job at keeping water cold without adding too much weight.
  • It does it’s job just scratches easy on bike racks
  • These bottles are really lightweight and do a decent job keeping your drink cool.
  • The good:Decent amount of volumeDoes a good job of holding water without leakingThe bad
  • Great job camelbak! My only qualm with these bottles is that the plastic is very soft and gets marred/scratched very easily

Reviews around product (3.99 of 5)

  • An amazing product and fits our bottle cages on our road
  • Really disliked this product
  • n’t have a problem with the height either
  • Would highly recommend the product if the locking mechanism worked better.
  • n’t just rip it or suck on it to drink.

Reviews around insulation (3.38 of 5)

  • The thin insulation on the Podium Chill is enough to at least keep your water cool while you exercise on a hot day, but it can't (nor should it) compete with products by Hydro Flask or Yeti
  • The insulation works well to keep drinks cool in 25-35 degree weather.
  • , the blue insulation in the clear bottle looks cheap and 2 even after washing it still has a slight plastic flavor in the water.
  • A good bottle, but its insulation is only good enough for short lived cool water at best.
  • Leaks no matter how tight the cap is, poor insulation and hard to squeeze

  • Good quality bottle, keeps water cold for a long time and looks good
  • These water bottles are leakproof and feel like they are good quality but they just don’t keep water cold
  • They are good quality, easy to clean and work really well, no complaints.

Reviews around design (3.28 of 5)

  • The twist to unlock top part is hard to twist, poor design, doesn’t matter too much to me since I keep it unlocked on my bike and
  • Great design, great value beautiful color choices water bottle.
  • The previous design of this water bottle is amazing and we have about 10 of them in our house
  • Love the design and it is super easy to pull apart and clean.
  • But Camelback's inferior twist design to close it is not easy to do while riding

Reviews around water bottle (2.90 of 5)

  • Love these water bottles, easy to handle while riding!!
  • I thought I was getting the older version of the podium that had been recommended but this must have been the most recent as like the others in previous reviews, the water bottle is almost impossible to open with one hand while cycling.
  • The water bottle itself seems great, but I’m not sure this sticker is necessary...
  • This water bottle is hard to use and impossible to close
  • Great design, great value beautiful color choices water bottle.

Reviews around mouthpiece (1.69 of 5)

  • What I can fault it for is the rigid mouthpiece, which - when it's unlocked, something that required my second hand to accomplish - still requires you to squeeze vigorously on the bottle to drink from it
  • The soft rubber mouthpiece is the same material as previous version, but much thinner
  • I leave the twist mouthpiece open and it doesn’t leak

Reviews around podium chill (1.47 of 5)

  • This Podium Chill is EXTREMELY SLICK and it sweats.
  • I've been using the Podium Chill water bottle for a couple weeks now
  • The new generation of podium chill is not an improvement
  • I took temperature readings in hot sun of a CamelBak Podium Chill vs a non-insulated water bottle and the Podium Chill kept the water cooler for significantly longer
  • I prefer the podium chill to the camelbak eddy for drawing water during a ride.

Reviews around bite (1.35 of 5)

  • It is a bit hard to squeeze but that might change through repeated use.
  • overall these are great bottles, but i do find them hard to clean and i they get dirty quite a bit
  • Since you have to squeeze the bottle to expel water, it can be a bit annoying - not enough to cramp your hand, just more resistance than I'm used to
  • However, I do feel that the CamelBak does enter / exit my Bontrager cages a 'tad' bit smoother than the Polar.
  • I was a bit hesitant to buy this bottle as I read a lot of reviews stating that it’s a bit stiff and hard to squeeze for water

Reviews around smell (1.00 of 5)

  • Absolutely no harsh noxious chemical smell at all either
  • The stereotypical smell of a plastic water bottle is non-existent, which for me, is a game-changer.
  • The terrible chemical smell and taste doesn’t seem to go away after several uses.
  • I use these on my commuter bike, change water daily, but only wash them about every other week and haven't noticed any weird smells or taste
  • Nice bottle, good price point, doesn't have that fake plastic smell after a few cleanings.
