It is not just decorative finish, but with its light absorbing capability, it gives a neat and sharp edge to the screen and saves time when it comes to fine tuning the projected picture and fitting it on to the screen
I was on the fence about using this one building my own projection screen but having the tape around the border really does make a nice edge and adds a new dimension to the picture
It may not look like much in the before and after pictures but this stuff really makes for a crisp edge as it soaks up all light and adds alot of contrast
This blacking out of the image gives it a nice crisp edge (see picture
This product went up easy and folded over the edges really well

Used a little bit of super glue to help permanently stick it to the screen
The reviews on this that say "the glue isn't so great" are pretty accurate.
The glue on the back tends to be a bit "not so sticky as it should be"
The glue isn't the best, it keeping coming off on some parts, but nothing too bad
Nice product - tape needed super glue on the backside to stick to screen.

Black duct tape did a much better job, doesn’t collect lint and is still performing.
Also does a great job of hiding the over spill from the projector.
While it stayed on the screen this tape did a good job of absorbing the over spill of light from my projector
I was able to create a border around my screen and the tape does a very good job of killing all reflections when overscanning.

The adhesive was not strong and the whole border was slowly sliding down
I'll be using it in other places around the screen area as well as it makes most everything disappear even with low light
It is very well made, easy to apply, and the adhesive is solid.

I don't know what exactly caused it, but cannot recommend this product.
This is a fantastic product that was used on my DIY projector screen.
Highly recommended product, it's the best felt tape I've ever used.
Nice product - tape needed super glue on the backside to stick to screen.
