While this serves it's purpose, this mat is the right length and protects my new hardwood floor from scratches

Appearance wise, it is not completely transparent because of the rough surface

I think the photos they provided are reasonably accurate.

However, it is too slick to stay put on a solid floor which is what it is designed to protect

I would not recommend this product for its advertised purpose without modifications to ensure it stays in place.

I will eventually replace the mat with a better quality product.
