Good looking, affordable RGB fans, but they lack customization and performance

The LEDs are really nice looking and the LEDs around the fan hub add an extra level of color that my NZXT AER RGB fans didn't have

Fans are nice looking with the Corsair LINK program to change colors.

They have a few nice looking modes with the included controller

I had these in my Corsair Crystal 570x case, they have good airflow and the color looks nice, but not overwhelming

These fans are very quiet, good airflow and the LEDs add a touch of color.

The airflow is very good as well, I keep them around 750 RPM and it still pushes a lot of air and is nice and quiet

If you're looking for bright and colorful fans with good airflow, these are for you!

Fans are not great to begin with and then forking out extra $ for the colors that dont even work is quite the upset

Very easy to install i placed two in the front one in the rear, with the software you download on the website the effects are amazing, my case looks so cool

A tad loud considering I used 6 of them, but my case stays cool and the soft lighting effects are exactly what I wanted

The software allows for control over individual fans, as well as cascading effects

but that's a sign of bad quality control.

Other corsair rgb packages have a more robust software controlled setting platform

The "fan hub" that it claims to come with is for LED CONTROL ONLY

Then you have the two LED control boxes that each need to be connected to SATA power and one of them to a USB header on the motherboard

I do like the software - its simple to understand, and includes lots of temperature and speed information, and can also control other Corsair products if you have them (RGB Vengeance RAM, water coolers, cases, etc).Despite the cost, I prefer the Node Pro control over the remote, because I also have RGB keyboard, mouse, keypad controller, and headphones, and together I can quickly change the color palette of my system on a whim without having to dig around for the wired controller.

One of the fans was defective right away, not illuminating as much light as it should have

I ordered these fans on Nov 27 and today, the lights on 2 of the fans werent working

Not only does it work great, it was easy to install, and the LED lights give it a really cool effect.

Pretty disapointed they advertised it with a controller that only controls the led lights and not the actual fans -.-

They work great on radiators, plus work super well as case fans

Plenty of air flow and gives the case a colorful twist.

Very quiet fans that can move alot of air in a tough case to move air in.

I am able to control all of the fans from the top mounted case controls

2x fan hubs ($10 each plus $13 shipping- available only from corsair) & fans HD(3x$28-1 back, 2x front of case bringing air in), 3 static pressure SP air in top case on radiator ($20 eax 3=$60)

Unfortunately, the lighting controller is of poor quality, and one of the fans LED doesn't work at all

IF you wanted to get a good quality fan, with low noise and sick colors

but that's a sign of bad quality control.

However I wish it was more customizable, like the thermaltake higher end led fans, which may be inferior quality-wise, but you can fully customize them so you get something that's of your taste..maybe an update from Corsair Link may fix this

Update 2: I've noticed a lot of people reviewing these fans saying they're poor performance for radiators

It also seems to keep my computer running a tad cooler as well (performance wise)

software crashes, does not control rgb properly, when you update the software fans will not light

The only negative thing about this set up is the rgb controller

The only thing I hate about RGB fans in general is the cable management nightmare and having to deal with hubs and RGB headers

I highly recommend these things if you want a computer that's sexier than you.

When plugging one directly into the motherboard rgb header, the fans that don't work with the controller only have 1 or 2 leds light up and they blink instead of staying steadily light and also produce a very loud whining noise

Noise is pretty competitive with some of the better fans, and as always the more air you move and the more resistance encountered in the radiator, the more noise you get.

had 3 come with my computer case and within a little less than 12 months the fans start to get louder and make a rattle vibrating noise

My only complaint, and the reason for only four stars, is the fact that, as stand alone fans, they don't have the best interface

The fans are static pressure optimized and can move 43.25 CFMat 24.8dBA

I like the look of some other Corsair fans better, but these are pretty good for a radiator in terms of static pressure

These fans are Air-Flow not Static Pressure, of course they're going to perform poorly as radiator fans

Great looking fans with some above average performance and noise, worth the slight tradeoff on static pressure and CFM for how good they look

TLDR; A solid ventilation fan, almost completely silent at low power, though not a top choice for high static pressure situations like radiators or coolers
