The Hydro Series H60 is an all-in-one liquid CPU cooler with a 120mm radiator built for low-noise liquid CPU cooling and bold styling with a white LED-lit pump head. Compatible with all current AM4, LGA 1151 and LGA 2066 socket CPUs and e...
The h55 quiet edition is a good cpu cooler, however, corsair's backplate is plastic and the metal screw-holes can slip making it nearly impossible to take off (eventually I had to superglue the screws to the plastic just to free my prossesor)
I'm using the H55 Quiet Edition and it has kept my CPU temps between 25-
Well Corsair might as well change the name to "Loud as a Train Edition", because it is
DISCLAIMER: I bought the H55 Quiet edition, but this should apply to all of them
The Corsair Hydro H55 Quiet Edition Liquid CPU Cooler is just what my mini computer build needed
I replace the cooling system with this Corsair on and it has been working great ever since.
dont wasted ur money its garbage cooler dont believe in anyone here my temp over 40and one of pipe not working stay away from
But the ease of installation aside, the cooler works perfectly and is every bit as capable as the one that came stock in the Alienware.
the corsair cooler with 2 fans works great the temp stays around 32c to 45c degrees , I will be buying a bigger water cooler and bigger radiator with 2 - 240 mm fans next for a new system that I'm building
Pump stopped working and caused my 6700k to burn up, ruined my computer now have to get CPU and fans to replace this.
Dropped my 8 core AMD processor from 40 C to 24 C while idling
(Gelid Silent 12 1000) running at 500rpm, overclocked to 4.5GHz, 1.44V. Not a high performance cooler, but the pump is quiet, and the included fan isn't annoying at all
Does a great job at improving the performance of my computer
bracket). The GPU was running at 45 C idle / 91 C under load, and it was throttling while using Sapphire's cooler
The cooling performance of this is on par with the h100i.
Easily 4.5 stars, but the USB cable travesty is the only thing that keeps me from rounding up to 5 stars
(And the older product was not very quiet, this one is really silent which is one great thing about it)
What I personally think is the most amazing thing about these coolers is that they outperform standard (and enormous) air coolers while running very quiet
This thing is also very quiet, which is where I was also going with my build up.
Holy crap, this thing makes more noise than my factory fan
First, your motherboard probably relies on air flow created by the fan on the heat sink spilling over the socket and moving air around the chipset on the motherboard
Now, the flaw, and it’s not insignificant.... check your motherboard for capacitors that are inside that box created by the heat sink support holes
If you want a robust heat sink mount, I suggest you seriously consider the Noctua mounting kit if you plan to use this Corsair water cooling product
If only the heat sink could just push and twist in like the stock fans
Now, the flaw, and it’s not insignificant.... check your motherboard for capacitors that are inside that box created by the heat sink support holes
The tubes are a bit hard to articulate in place, but patience will usually get you through that stressful installation
The fans can be a bit loud for my taste but they do move some air
Installing the bracket in the CPU block can test your patience a bit too, but you'll sort it out quickly, even with a slightly confusing manual
Otherwise it was nicely made, didn't leak a bit, seemed to move heat away efficiently, quiet
Note : if you use X99-Delluxe/3.1USB MoBo the USB connector below the pomp will not fit well between the pipes , not on top or below very hard to fit so it is not best choice to use it with this MoBo , if the connector was not right curved there will be no issue , the manual show the USB on top bit it is not
I've honestly stayed away from liquid cooling systems for fear of broken pins, leaks, etc
this is a good cooler, I've used corsair AIO's for years now, but my only complaint is that my particular cooler ended up leaking onto my system, thankfully it was a
but I'm really glad I made the switch there have been no issues with this thing no leaks
Needless to say, I very impressed as I was initially concerned I would have to reduce my OC settings
Ive heard too many horror stories ranging from "the pump broke and my CPU overheated" to "it was leaking and leaked all over my GPU"
Liquid cooler itself is fine and does its job well but the fan that came with it started to make noise after 3 weeks and ruined the whole "quiet" experience.
This new H55 model does not seem to be made as robustly as the old, and the low noise silent fan that came with this unit is anything but.
Both started out fine, but now make a super-annoying rattling noise.
However after a few months of use it started making this horrible rattling / clicking noise
About noise the H55 it is very quiet in order to give the best performance/low noise radio, about the H80i GT the SP120L fans are so much louder but you must consider 70 CFM of flow and 4,65 mmH20 of pressure, and that means power and you see clearly the results (check GPU-z screenshots), about pump noise I read some reviews here warning about pump noise, in my case with the H55 pump (1500RPM constant speed) and H80i GT (1850 RPM quiet 3000 RPM performance), so far I have not heard any noise, very quiet both pumps
