While I am used to using only temperature and timer dials, this air fryer spoiled me by being all digital and offering a pre-heat component (instead of guessing).

This gorgeous appliance added an extra flare to my counter top

The nice thing about this air fryer is that it offers several presets for common cooking scenarios not only for the staples (beef, chicken, fish and vegetables), but also for some more specific/unique things like shrimp, bacon, French fries and even cake.

The worst thing that happens now is the meal doesn't get flipped or shaken half way through.

Another nice feature is how easy this thing is to clean.

HOW IT WORKS AND PERFORMSThe nice thing about air frying is that it is so easy to use and essentially replaces the need to use oil to “fry” food.

Plus It is a great thing to have if you are a vegan trying to minimize oils as well.

My first time I've trusted the 28 minute cooking time for fries they're burnt

I have loved the recipes we have tried so far and even without a recipe, it's so easy to pop something in and just select the correct icon to get the right cooking temp and time

My Phillips cost about $180 2 years ago size 2.75 qts and this unit cost $89 for well over 5 qts

The only thing to be warned about is that it is a little bit loud and large, but it's totally worth it to me!

My only complaint was that it was a bit difficult to clean

It is a little bit louder than my old one but considering how big it is, that is not an issue

It's a bit tricky to learn to take the basket in and out at first.

So far the only objection I have to it is a strong plastic smell when heated up but it is now 80% gone after about 5 uses.

I almost returned this due to the horrid plastic smell when cooking

I used the fryer twice at 350 and there was a slight plastic smell

I returned Ninja air fryer and bought Cosori Stainless Steel Air fryer as the Ninja had a bad plastic smell
