It is effective at cleaning larger electronic surfaces, such as entire circuit boards, as well as for small electronic devices
I mounted the knob, turned the car back on, and everything worked as it did before
On one of the stereo forums I frequent, one user said he used this product for the same purposes and was happy with it, as well as it being less expensive than the DeOxit equivalent

if you have air leaksMAP fix - buy a good quality (Crawford or Mishimoto) Air Oil Separator kit and plumb it in along with the Subaru OE AOS to go longer between MAP cleanings... no "inexpensive" fix here... expect to spend around $400 for a good quality AOS kit for the PCV and CCV systems
The quality and convenience of this electronic cleaner is the best that I've
Used to clean esc’s and electric motors and have had no shortage issues.

CRC 5301 is an excellent cleaner for any electronic contacts and moving surfaces that my accumulate dust over time.
Not much to say about it, it's perfectly adequate electronics cleaner, evaporates fast, no extra residue, I used it for cleaning off circuit boards and drying out wet sockets and it worked fine.
Cheap electronics cleaner
When that no longer worked, I ordered the CRC electrical cleaner.
Second, and perhaps more importantly, I have never had any damage or discoloration of materials when using my original electronic cleaner, so I made the mistake of assuming the CRC QD would be as benign on materials as my old cleaner.
For troublesome switches and contacts, I use it in conjunction with deozit d5
Never use other cleaners, like brake cleaner, to clean electronics, so it's great to have a can of this around if you work on cars because the problems can often be due to corroded electronic contacts.
Spray intermittent contacts and burnish, spray again, good to go
Does not leave resiGreat for cleaning electrical contacts
Is "QD Electronic Cleaner" as effective as "DeOxit" for troublesome contact issues?
This electronic cleaner spray (AKA "tuner cleaner") works like magic- spray a few shots of this stuff into volume controls, switches, contact points,
I bought another CRC electronic cleaner spray on April 20, 2020 to be use as a spare & never opened it until now that I need to use it, I was pissed that the spray can is missing the spray knob SO BASICALLY USELESS
Yes, I said mistake because in my first use of the CRC QD I didn't take precautions for over-spray and/or splatter.
This spray cleaner is not working when I spray it into my charger device to clean it out
I’ve been using this spray electronic cleaner for years to clean electronic parts safely and without residue
Used it to clean a scratchy volume control on my car's stereo.
qd is the best for electronic like volume knobs and other parts of receiver and so on
I used it in conjunction with WD40 version to fix the on/volume control of a floor standing replica radio which was producing crackling and setting correct volume level was near impossible.
Who knew an analog signal could be so badly affected by a dirty volume knob
Finally a cleaner/lubricant for use on my radios to elinate "scratchy" pots (volume switches) and band switches
