There may still be some hiccups in the software, but at least the software is new and up to date with current operating systems like Server 2012

I installed the replacement that evening and the USB on it worked as expected.

Reads out power fluctuations in Volts ie 118 - 121, shows battery level, ready and first time power out ran a small office voice, data, server, firewall and router with ease

I was surprised at the weight of the system, I guess to keep cost down they used lead acid batteries

Following is the breakdown of my rating:-1 star for the USB not working, making it useless to shutdown my computers and use the other functions supported by the UPS.-3 stars for the replacement also failing with the same problem.+1 star for excellent product support, no waiting to speak with a representative, and no charge for return shipping to their RMA dept., along with timely shipment of the replacement unit

As others have said, the mounting that came with it is for the front only and it's way too heavy to trust those supports

however the unit sags down because there is not enough support for it otherwise

Because my loads are well under the unit power rating these unit will allow me up to about 90 minutes to get the electronics completely off if the power get real erratic.

I will say the unit is quiet when under less than 50% load and there are no fans running unless it switches to battery power.

A wide piece of black electrical tape has remedied that issue!I do not hesitate to recommed this UPS to anyone thinking of using it for home theater protection.

I did a little research and after hearing the popular brands quality was slipping (erhm, APC), I looked elsewhere and found cyberpower had some decent products out there

With that said, most all other brands originate from China as well, and APC is a company specifically that I choose to not deal with.

Great UPS so far - can handle more equipment than our 1500 APC's

Seems to be a fine UPS in function, but there is a huge oversight when it comes to mounting in a rack
