The base and wok aren't a good fit

The base heats up to an appropriate temperature and then it shuts down just as you're stirring in your ingredients.

It has a very nice non-stick wok and top, but the heating element and base are not so hot - literally!

From the day we bought it the thing never heated up very well, then to top it off after owning it about a year and a half and using it a couple times a month, the bottom decided to check out - now it doesn't heat at all

I guess I bought a nice stove top wok.

Heating unit is awesome
