I decided to play it safe by purchasing a denman that was not a classic color (classic or all black) as they hold high risks or receiving fakes

It seems that a thicker hair texture/ a tighter curl pattern does not work well with this brush

This brush is like magic for curly hair, it really adds separation for your curls and encourages curling on it's own

I’ve got type 2C/3A type curls(wavy/looser curls) and had seen several suggestions online to use this brush to help with curl

and once i reach the last few inches i gently twist the brush horizontally, and then just gently shake the curl out with my fingers

To achieve those without a Denman I would have to individually twist up each curl by hand, so this brush saves me A LOT of time

I usually de tangle my hair in and out of the shower with a tangle teezer brush, then use the Denman for styling

I have 3 different ones - a large plastic bristle one for detangling, a combo boar and plastic bristle to cut down on frizz and the one I carry in my purse.

this is some cheap plastic brush, worse than a $5 drugstore brush

There is no name on the handle of the brush and the bristles are hard plastic; my REAL (but older) Denman brush is softer.
