I think these can get high review ratings because most people don't push that much power through them and the design can be quite handy if you don't have something burn yours up

This is my favorite switch just wish it came in green and blue and all other colors.

A couple of small cons: they could have included a master on/off switch and added a few cent extra on the price, the LOGO/Model Number should have been made a lot smaller or made removable (its way too big and in your face)

Few External Hard Drives are made with power switches any more, and this unit is perfect for controlling their engagement and prolonging their life
