Reviews around expect (5.00 of 5)

  • They are rechargeable batteries and they work as expected and I was unable to find a size D cell at any of the local stores.
  • Worked as expected, not a let down, bought for a battery charger for my husband who is deployed
  • I SPENT 9 DAYS WITHOUT PROPER LIGHTING B/C ALL OF FLORIDA WAS OUT OF D
  • Don't buy these, just get the Tenergy cells and get a good charger like the Maha Powerex MH-C808M 8 Cell Multi-Charger for AA/AAA/C/D and enjoy rechargeable batteries that actually compare reasonably well to alkaline primaries.

Reviews around price (4.30 of 5)

  • Don't buy these, just get the Tenergy cells and get a good charger like the Maha Powerex MH-C808M 8 Cell Multi-Charger for AA/AAA/C/D and enjoy rechargeable batteries that actually compare reasonably well to alkaline primaries.
  • Amazon was the only place that carried them, and at a good price
  • I SPENT 9 DAYS WITHOUT PROPER LIGHTING B/C ALL OF FLORIDA WAS OUT OF D
  • Always good to know that I don't have to rush out to buy exploited priced batteries at a time of state emergency.
  • Not worth the price.

Reviews around brand (4.21 of 5)

  • The AA size seem fine, but the D were a waste of money.
  • I would definitely recommend this brand to anyone looking to save money on batteries over the long term.
  • My Premise I was thinking that well sometimes manufactures some how pull off the better numbers ( ie capacity) is overall not as good as a name brand but the product My test revealed that the EBL batteries with higher capacity indeed had 3 x plus more use
  • So these are really HOLLOW D-batteries with most likely a regular AA battery inside
  • , it's sleazy, and it's not what I would expect from a brand name like Energizer

Reviews around quality (4.16 of 5)

  • I have not tried them but it seems like a good idea if they are decent quality, make all your battery operated devices save for those using 9V use the same size cells for interchangeability.
  • I wanted better quality batteries to use in my flashlights.
  • What poor workmanship and quality.
  • Not that they aren't good quality, but next time I'll spend the extra money for real D Cells, the ones rated at 10,000 mah.

Reviews around light (4.16 of 5)

  • I used the batteries once and for 1 hour with a LED motion light.
  • Yep, that's a total of only 18hrs. to light an led light.
  • I tried 2 in my Energizer flashlight and get a very dim light
  • They even feel super light compared to other rechargables.

Reviews around capacity (4.03 of 5)

  • In the end, I can recommend them as a decent rechargeable battery, but I can not recommend them as a good high capacity one
  • Don't buy these, just get the Tenergy cells and get a good charger like the Maha Powerex MH-C808M 8 Cell Multi-Charger for AA/AAA/C/D and enjoy rechargeable batteries that actually compare reasonably well to alkaline primaries.
  • Pitifully low capacity and no modernized Low Self Discharge make this battery not worth the money at any price for almost every application you can think of.
  • In the end, I can recommend them as a decent rechargeable battery, but I can not recommend them as a good high capacity one
  • I'm taking them back for a refund once I get some with better capacity.

Reviews around buy (4.03 of 5)

  • If you really only need 2500mAh in a D form factor, these are still a bad buy
  • I'm sure these batteries are fine, and they were a great buy compared to the others

Reviews around advertise (3.75 of 5)

  • But if you are trying to use them in a high drain device, like maybe a D powered portable TV, then no, they probably are not going to last long
  • So these are really HOLLOW D-batteries with most likely a regular AA battery inside
  • I'm still looking for a good D batteries that works for my water boiler(lot of money replacing normal batts)
  • the only difference is how long it will last) and am using those in all of my things, but having some D's around just in case is nice too
  • The AA size seem fine, but the D were a waste of money.

Reviews around power (3.61 of 5)

  • If you need good power rechargeable D's go with Tenergy, Maha, etc
  • They also don't have enough power to run some toys that require D batteries.
  • Great batteries, a must for emergencies and survival, great power output, and long term storage life, can hold 80% charge for 6 months easy and go right into a electronic device and go strong for hours
  • Some of the pairs cause the candles to flicker a low power warning right after charging the batteries
  • All I am trying to do with these is power to fake candles and the batteries only work for 5 days and thats on a 5 hour timer per day

Reviews around time (3.44 of 5)

  • they do recharge unlimited times but 8 hours per charge up and 2 of use.
  • I've never experienced device damaging leakage from a nimh cell like I have many times with alkalines, especially Rayovac
  • I had the hardest time finding rechargeable D batteries
  • They don't take too long to charge, they're a bit more expensive up front but last for a long time and can be re-energized many times over
