  • I made an L shaped stick to leverage the button down while pouring and still couldn't get the gas out.

Reviews around quality (3.68 of 5)

  • I made an L shaped stick to leverage the button down while pouring and still couldn't get the gas out.
  • The quality of the can overall is fine enough, but it has a couple of flaws that quickly become apparent the first time you try to fill something with it.
  • great little gas can.. Haven't found a nozzle yet that is easy to use but the can and nozzle is good quality..

Reviews around idea (3.22 of 5)

  • and now I've wasted money on a poorly executed great idea
  • The design is a great idea but it has some major flaws
  • I liked the idea but awkward to hold
  • Its good for a top fill tank but as for putting gas into a car tank, its impossible.
  • In concept push button was a great idea, but then the MFR put a near impossible to push lock switch ON the push button

Reviews around tank (3.22 of 5)

  • Its good for a top fill tank but as for putting gas into a car tank, its impossible.
  • This tank leaks
  • Its good for a top fill tank but as for putting gas into a car tank, its impossible.
  • Maybe that's the way it is with these newer style cans, but it chugs when I'm trying to fill my mowers and makes it easy to potentially spill when filling a smaller tank like on a push mower.

Reviews around nozzle (2.87 of 5)

  • This can is bulky and the nozzle is a pain if you have any type of mobility issues with your wrist or shoulder
  • I made an L shaped stick to leverage the button down while pouring and still couldn't get the gas out.
  • Great buy, all quality materials, well made, Nozzle was a little difficult to screw on getting the grooves to line
  • I like the nozzle especially, and it actually is 5 gals!
  • The nozzle leaks from around the cap at the top and bottom.

Reviews around design (2.18 of 5)

  • This is probably the worst design of what should be a simple product ever.
  • I dabbed some silicone on it, and I'll keep it, but this is really a bad design all the way around
  • i can use it now but it really ticks me off that anyone would sell something this badly designed
  • I find the design of this product to be cumbersome, for a 5 gallon gas can it is too heavy not to provide a second handle, It is also very difficult to continually hold the button down while dispensing gasoline as it often requires repositioning to not create a vacuum within the gas can in order to allow the freeFlow of gasoline!
  • I think this can needs to be stepped back from purely safety considerations toward more ergonomic, simple to use, logical design.

Reviews around button (1.74 of 5)

  • The gas flows out when you push the button like its supposed to.
  • The button is hard to push and hold, that is, if it were even possible to do so.
  • I certainly don't have the finger dexterity or strength to hold down this obnoxious button for 10 minutes or more... and my guess is neither do you
  • The button is really hard to use, virtually impossible while trying to hold the can up to pour.
  • While I appreciate the safety button, it makes it almost impossible to pour when the container is full

Reviews around spout (1.58 of 5)

  • Very short inflexible spout versus heavy weight of gas can with heavy flow.
  • because there is no handle on the side ... very difficult to pour when full ... a flexible spout might help but it’s current spout and container design is most cumbersome.
  • Not having a flexible spout is a big detriment.
  • because there is no handle on the side ... very difficult to pour when full ... a flexible spout might help but it’s current spout and container design is most cumbersome.
  • Really enjoy the spout though.

Reviews around time (1.00 of 5)

  • I had a difficult time getting the lid off to fill the can and an even worse time getting the gas inside my mower
  • I am one of many persons staying home during this traumatic time, had someone purchase 5 gallon of gas using this gas can, to me dismay upon trying to release the gas into my gas tank was annoyed at the most difficult time to attempt a simple procedure (have used gas cans in the past without failure)
