My last HP all-in-one printer worked well with cartridges that were refilled/recharged by a local business in Columbia, Maryland, but this same company's recharged cartridges (unfortunately) can't come close to the quality of original HP cartridges for the LaserJet 1536dnf MFP.(Conspiracy theorists may have valid reasons to wonder if HP is up to something to keep ahead of the "refillers" and knock-off
This is a good printer and replacement cartridge working well.
I get good black text and long life from the genuine H-P Toner.
I believe there is some defect on the cartridge that is preventing the printer to work correctly.

Love the compatibility and print quality, but hate the price
I was printing strictly for personal or household use, I might be willing to risk quality for price, but having already wasted work time dealing with non-OEM cartridges that produced poor quality, I'm going to stick with HP's own cartridges for business.
An extra 2-3 cents per page seems like a reasonable cost for superior quality.
(Even though I've set all the computers in my house to use the LaserJet by default, our occasional color printing still seems to require new ink about four times a year, which is a lot more expensive.)The quality of this toner is good.

This was one of the best prices and the shipping was fast.

Again, great item, but questionable shipping practices.
At least HP offers a program on their website where you can buy cartridges at a 10% discount (plus free next-day shipping) which brings the cost down to less than I see any Amazon seller charging (at least as far as the 78A cartridge is
Fast shipping and solid product that worked perfectly with our printer.
