I purchased these to help overcome the woefully inadequate speakers that come with the Sena 20S Evo motorcycle intercom, which have a very good top end but absolutely no mid or low range
Play, pause, next and previews still works as it should.
Sound quality is the best I've ever heard from a helmet speaker; good clarity, good range, and they even produce bass!

Now, they do include about a 2' extension cable with the speakers, so I inserted that between the plug and the Sena and it improved the reception, but the extension is way too long to try to fit it all inside the helmet
I attempted to run the right side wire over the top of my head (a tip from Revzilla to improve reception) but it was a tight stretch with no slack at all, and would probably cause a wire break over time
Update: I managed to add the extension cable to my helmet wiring and while it did improve the reception, it's still not like it was with the Sena wiring, so these speaker wires must somehow be different
I just know that the stock wires as well as my ear bud wires gave me great reception

Plus DOT recommends replacing your helmet every 4 years, or after an accident, which it's been in 2, so I purchased the NEXX X.T1 Carbon Zero helmet that comes with cutouts.

Pros: these are excellent replacements for the stock speakers that come with the Cardo motorcycle communicators: louder, far better sound quality, and standard audio plug fits directly into the Cardo PackTalk wiring with no modifications

I should have known that a bad return policy shows a complete lack of confidence in the product and/or a history of high volume returns implying an inadequate product.
So great sounding product, and superior service from a company that really cares about their product and their customers
Good product but a little loudsy when speed up, good purchase but a little expensive.
Bottom line, these are an affordable great sounding set of speakers that I would recommend to any rider with helmet comms...

If I were you I'd stick with a good set of SHURE earbuds
I ride about 10-15k per year on an R1200RT and while I have found the best audio quality in a good set of earbuds, they can become uncomfortable for long days and long trips after repeated use
