Yes you do have to cut some of the dashboard out, a sawzall worked fine for that, and the Metra Kit facade fit perfectly (you cannot tell its not stock).I am VERY happy with the stereo, excellent sound,
stereo works great, still working the display as it does not show well during the daytime.
I was going to replace them with some infinity speakers I had but was surprised how well they sounded ( not audiophile quality by any means, but not worth the hassle of removing 4 door panels)
