Also the paper used is a higher grade than OEM as well and from what I managed to find out had a higher filtration capacity that a bunch of other filters.....the Mobil 1 filter is good too, but seems way overpriced for what it is.....prior to using this K&N I used a Bosch filter from Rockauto.....that was shipped with a Purolater installation guide which didn't seem right....also the fit was not so good as I noted when I took those out and replaced them with the K&Ns the Bosch were bent because they didn't fit so well

Make sure you get the correct tool to get the filter housing out or you may be buying a filter housing too!!

The Assenmacher TOY 640 wrench is the right tool also for my 2011 Toyota Sienna.

I love the product, but hate how Toyota decided to make their oil filters like Saturns.

They're similar to the OEM toyota but for the fact that the filter is more pleated, so has a greater filtration area.

Can't say how good the filtration is but I can definitely say it held up well till the next oil change

Gaskets were included, as well as a plastic insert thingy to drain oil from the oil filter before you loosen it for removal.

Somehow this is supposed to make a tight seal to prevent dirty oil from flowing _around_ the filter

I took it to the dealer and once the engine was warm no leak.

Haven't I noticed the oil leak on the ground, my engine could be totally damaged.

I bet it even lasts every 10,000 miles, but I just don't want to risk damaging my engine and oil pan.
