The tubing is straight, valves all line up and are the same height (not always the case with inexpensive trumpets), slides move easily, valves move freely and so far are not prone to sticking (as many inexpensive trumpets do), finish looks good and I didn't notice any flaws, trumpet is rigid and welds all appear solid
