Anyway after a few tries I do have reasonable control over where I would like to go, and the spare props supplied are a very nice thought

Second flight session was to test surround and follow functions but turned out to be disastrous, take-off and landing good, controls were working

But a feature you dont find even in higher priced drones is the customer support you will find with this drone!They have gone beyond any of my expectations to keep me flying and having fun while doing it

The Idea7 is relatively new on the scene and has the usual features you will find in it's price range, all of which are great features

But now they no longer laugh as this company most certainly values and seeks to keep their customers happy

This is one of the best gps drones in this price range with features found only in real expensive drones

The camera could be a little bit sharper but the performance of this a drone is amazing even just using the app on the phone

I was impressed with how much better performance in windy conditions was over my previous drone, which had a difficult time with even a slight breeze

The hovering behavior is remarkably clever.

The things I love about this are that it has pretty good flight time, around 20-30 minutes before needing to be recharged

Really flew good and good video, however after 6 hours of fly time one motor went out and fell in water.

You can put it in a hover mode where you can get really cool videos.

The WiFi gets laggy and drops out at times which causes choppy video and missing frames

First flight session was excellent except the video was very choppy

And I really wonder where to find out which smart phone is compatible.

Phone remote sluggish

Amazingly in this family we do not have any smart phones and the Samsung S2 pad does not connect with the WiFi transmissions, so we cannot use the onboard camera so far.
