It is a really good buy for a trumpet player that is comfortable with a full sized instrument or an experienced player that just wants a fun, easy to transport instrument.

The case is nice it is a soft hard case so it will protect from most problems but not all
Great for the price, comes with a nice case, some gloves you'll never use, and some other actually helpful items.
I played it briefly upon delivery without having oiled it, despite clear instruction to the contrary, just to test "worst-case".
I see others complaining of the valves, so my case cannot be an isolated on.
It comes with a cool bag and hard case, white gloves (really?), a trumpet choke (for the lack of a better word), cleaning fluid, a tuner and a small book
While I was tempted to try some of the remedies suggested by other reviewers (i.e. sanding/polishing the valves), I would have then been stuck with an unreliable instrument should the valves continue to stick.
Spring and compression is impressive, and I found it to be an all-around responsive instrument
Otherwise, it's a nice looking instrument and my son is pretty happy with it as a practice trumpet for home.
I can't recommend this instrument to any other musician that depends on a reliable instrument
But I contacted the company and they promptly sent a replacement and return shipping label for the defective instrument
