Works great to mix two guitars with different outputs, but if you're using it to send those signals to two amps, there's a ground loop problem, even if all connected units are coming from the same electrical source

Be aware you're getting a buffered AB / Y1,Y2 with independent input channel boost that always combines the two inputs (Y1, Y2)I often make videos with a bass loop and then switch to guitar, so this will be really handy

If what you need is an ABY box, this is a very good choice ... the added feature of having separate input levels for each instrument is key to success if you are planning on having 2 instruments coming in ... secondly, this unit is about as noiseless as it gets
