The valve action is still as good as when the horn was new
Any baritone/euphonium worth owning forever will generally set you back $2K-$4K (good manufacturer, compensating system, well constructed valves, etc)... but for under $300 this thing is amazing

The stock mouthpiece is unmarked, but looks, feels, and sounds like a 12C. This mouthpiece/horn combination is alright (possibly one of the very few acceptable uses of a 12C other than as a projectile), but the horn really sounds nice with a Schilke
Obviously!I purchased this horn because I simply love brass instruments and I always wanted a baritone, simply enough
But if you're a student or a hobbyist looking for a cheap horn, your money is well spent here.
