Love this Wii u remote my family uses it all the time and we love the browser colors on it
I never knew there was a Koopa Wii Remote even available because I had never seen it in stores in my region, but it's perfectly matched to the Mario Wii Remote
And yes, these newer, awesomer remotes include the Wii Motion Plus accessory built-in, and it can be used on the original Wii console as well as the Wii

They each have a primary color to match the respective character, as well as secondary and tertiary colors which all jive perfectly with the characters they represent

So just pop those in, and push the small red sync button on the back of the remote where the battery compartment is, as well as the sync button on the front of your Wii/Wii U. One other great thing, is unlike the older Wiimotes, the sync button can be pressed through the case and rubber sleeve, so you *don't* need to remove the sleeve or battery cover to sync the remote
