The piece of wood gets dirty easily, not a huge issue for me.

This is a very nice piece, love the hand-made craftsmanship and the frequency resonates amazingly

It's a bit tricky to get humming and isn't particularly loud, especially in the wind, but for a small, cheap package, it's fantastic.
