As you can see, TOUGH-GRID has 7 inner strands that have 3 smaller, intertwined strands each which military-spec cord is supposed to have

Regardless, TOUGH-GRID is the winner here in my book!Also, the Paracord Planet came strangely damaged (used?)

The 550 cord worked fine but the spool fell apart and left me with a huge mess.

The orange cord was so stiff that it twisted up really bad when I tried to use it.

This company has good above and beyond to match colors for me and refund cord that is not quite what I was looking for

I typically don't like single-use or disposable gear, but as cheap as this stuff is it doesn't bother me if I end up wasting some or giving it away.

9 strand is Ultimate but this is the good stuff in any case worth the money.

Also other paracord can be unpredictable as far as coverage goes, so it can be fairly easy to end up with a bunch of cuts that are too short to remain on the wire

Product is fine, but shipping a 250’ spool loose in a large manilla paper envelope/bag results in the customer receiving a rat-nested 250’ pile of paracord next to a smashed cardboard spool.

If the center strands are still exposed after burning the end with a match, then the center strands are definitely made of a material that is not nylon

With this paracord the center strands are still exposed after burning the end with a match.

If the center strands are made of nylon, then simply briefly burning the end with a match will seal it very nicely

It cuts clean and takes a burned end well.
