Reviews around channel (5.00 of 5)

  • A decent overdrive pedal into the clean channel is all you really need, and the reverb sound good, too
  • It's a 2 channel Amp, but the Gain Boost acts as a 3rd channel for metal distortion and leads
  • It still sounds like a 50 watt plexi on the clean channel(basically what it is), I have it on Class A on the back rotary knob, which helps it from peeling the paint off the walls

Reviews around price (5.00 of 5)

  • The Valveking is now made in CHINA & not the U.S. like the other Peavey amps; thus the low price
  • Amazing Amplifier head for many playing styles, and the affordable price is just another plus, and out performs other Amps costing many times the price

Reviews around carlos santana (5.00 of 5)

  • With a 4x12 Speaker Cab loaded with (2 Eminence Red Fangs & 2 Eminence Wizards)I have achieved the perfect classic Carlos Santana tone; think Moonflower

Reviews around tube (5.00 of 5)

  • This is probably the best tube amp there is, when it comes to dollar-per-watt, useability, and RELIABILITY.I bought this in the 2X12

Reviews around ear protection (5.00 of 5)

  • No balancing between the 1 and the 2 on the volume knob, to keep the plaster from falling down, you actually get to use the knobs on this without needing ear protection

Reviews around bass (5.00 of 5)

  • When playing clean, I also keep the bass low, as it tends to hit hard making chords over dramatic
