In my opinion, the black version is more elegant looking than the silver.
Second, the grip is textured metal, which is classy looking and adequate in grip, but not as nice and grippy as the rubber/plastic used on the disposable.

The metal is a bit cheap looking, a little too much chrome in places where a nice matt would look cleaner
Obviously it doesn't look as nice as a much more expensive pen, but a step up from disposable pens, with the same superior writing quality of the Energel

All in all, this is a great everyday pen with nice build quality
I used to LOVE these pens but their quality has greatly diminished--now they LEAK ink and the overall quality of the pen is poor (they seem flimsy and "rattle" in your hand)

Have been able to find refills in the store that makes it a great product for me, I have gone through a couple already

It produces a dark, clean line on various papers, and the ink dries quite fast
