This product cleans it right up - no marks on the papers besides from the indentation made by the pencil

These are high quality, and will erase from the smallest mistakes to paragraphs with no problem

These things erase so good that I can't even tell that there was anything written in the first place

this is really good erasers for erasing a big area, but it does leave a little shadow of graphite behind if the graphite is very dark.

so I can't comment on them breaking off as that has not happened.
