Overall, yes- there are nicer, easier to put on straps for mandolins, but this is a simple one that does its job for a reasonable price.

Works as advertised with the mandolin -- worth the price, nice and practical/functional strap that could be used with a banjo, as well.

The connection points on the tail piece fit snugly, so they won't be bumped accidentally

The strap adjusts well and fits comfortably, and I will likely use it a great deal with a pretty hefty dreadnought I own

So I sized up which slot/hole to use for proper playing position and then cut that slot/hole a bit larger, using an X-Acto knife kit's circle/hole cutter tool
