This is an excellent set for any artist, my granddaughter is in an art program in college and loves to use these with sketch book, gives just the right width and detail.
This is a very good set of black pens with graduated sizes.
If you are needing a good set for a more polished,finished look...invest in something else

Pens are pretty good but had problems with a couple leaking, which is why it isn't getting 5 stars.

Write well and dry fast so smudging isn’t an issue
Just using them to create a visual of the quality and sizes I could tell immediately they were dry, the nibs more delicate or cheaper if you will..the ink flow is unpredictable, sparse and spotty at best* the brush marker has a very soft brush

These pens work well a couple of them bled ink in their caps but over all my granddaughter loves them.
