I've tried twice so far consists only friend that is able to be used on a glass top stove I met before asset attempted against third or fourth time until I get one that is it broken on arrival.
I was able to use it on my glass top stove, and I appreciate that.
Pros: Since its made from aluminum, its relatively light weight and is able to be used on a glass top stove
please do check your glass top stove for weight restrictions, i think i cracked mine using it for water bath.
I use it on my glass-top stove with no problems, but check with your stoves manufacturer.
Anyways, I cleaned the pot out, examined the gaskets, and against all better judgement I decided to try it again; because I had guests coming and they were expecting stew
Nice big pot for making certain soups, but bought to can on glasstop stove.
I live alone and you cannot cook a good pot of beans unless than 3 hours and then leftovers for a week
However, even though the vent locks, it began to leak steam in my last batch.
On my first try,the seal and vent/lock would not activate
The last time, the bottom screw on the air vent/cover lock jiggled itself loose and fell off while under 11 lbs of pressure.
The lid locks on very securely and the built in safety valve along with the pressure lock makes it very safe.
The vent lock simply would not activate, and the Pressure gauge was incomplete (missing small gasket). This is obviously too late for any kind of return ,so I am just stuck with an overpriced aluminum pot!!I have videos and pictures showing the steam and all water escaping from the vent lock, but never building pressure
