Sound quality is good, but the clock disappears if you turn the radio on.
( I purchased this shower radio as a Christmas present at the end of November for my husband therefore it wasnt opened until December 25th and quit working by February 13th.) ;( when the radio did work it had great quality sound and reception

Reception is terrible; out of approximately 12 stations to choose from, it only picked up about 4
We don't use the clock feature, so I can't review that part of it, but we get good reception on both the AM and FM bands.
