I liked the material the rings are built with but it doesn't get 5 stars because the 14-inch ring isn't really that, it doesn't fit my 14-inch pearl session snare drum, same thing with my 13-inch tom (same series as the snare).

These rings are inexpensive, and they do a great job of muffling the snare and tom-toms.
The rings work as advertised, controlling overtones and stopping the annoying "ring" that comes with a cheap set of drums with cheap heads (which I bought).
Moongel is the standards these days, and different placements allows you to control how much dampening/ they fit any drum size (measure your kit before buying these), but o-rings are definitely more reliable
