Also whoever tuned the bass ports on these did a pretty good job, the cone excursion is really well controlled even when running full range and not highpassed for a sub
For that the speaker does an excellent job as it gets plenty loud - way too loud to stand next to it without hearing protection (which is no issue for me as I am required to have earplugs at work anyway)

I am not a audiophile i own cheap to expensive dj speakers this little 8 inch powered speaker is amazing clean mids & highs tigh punchy bass very loud , if you are looking for deep bass
