  • I just love Rotosounds, but I've always used the stainless steel strings because they are bright and zingy
  • Rotosounds come highly recommended from a friend bass player.

Reviews around treble (5.00 of 5)

  • As most of the reviews mention, they are versatile and aren't simply limited to the typical clangy bright treble you get with new strings
  • Not as bright compared to the regular swing bass RS66LD's, but I wouldn't describe them as "warm", just less treble

Reviews around price (5.00 of 5)

  • Thru the years I've tried many many different kinds of sets and the only two that I rely on consistently are the rotosound RS 66 series and Thomastik Infeld but the Thomastiks are three times the price at approximately $95 a set(and well worth the money if you're inclined to try a set)
  • Fantastic quality at a good price and made in England to boot

  • They are a little less zingy but still have tons of top end and a full, rich bottom end

  • I've been playing rotosound strings for over 15 years and although I usually love them this last set was defective and the G String broke
